To find someone on Internet and from a different culture might seem harder then it actually is. Most problems occur simply because many of our members don’t realize the true cultural differences. If a woman is 25 and unmarried she is most likely going to stay single unless she looks for a man abroad. Many women also look for foreign men because they consider western men to be more loyal and equal in a marriage relationship. It is also a well known fact that many men in Russia and Ukraine drink too much and this is not popular with the ladies.

When you start to communicate with a woman from the East, respect her culture. Ask her about her life and try to find out more about her life in general. She is most likely living with her parents. Do not be surprised by this. She is most likely religious. She probably will want to find a man for marriage and she will consider marriage something that is natural in a relationship. Think of a Russian woman as a proper lady. Someone who want to be treated like a modern woman but still get the attention she is used to having in her own country.

When you start to communicate with a woman, don’t start with a small letter like "Hello my name is Jeff and I like your photos. Please write me at my email address jeff@fakeemailaddress.com" You will be considered a non-serious person who only wants her to send pictures of herself. Write her about yourself and why you liked her profile. Let her know that she is special among all women on our site. You have to remember that it is your words that first attract her. Your first impression that you make on her is very important. But do not write too long letters either.

If you have communicated for some time and you want to take the conversation to a higher level. Do not ask her for MSN. Ask her for Skype or ICQ. MSN is not used in Russia or Ukraine. Age is not a problem

This is more or less true. If you are looking for someone younger, then Eastern women are perfect. They are in general looking for older men because they find older men more reliable and honest. But if you have passed 40 and are looking for someone in their early 20’s, then think again. Such a relationship is as rare in East as it is in the West. Most girls of that age group, who appear to be interested in a man over 40, are not serious and may only want a "Sugar Daddy". Such men would do themselves a favour by trying to find woman older than 25.

Forget what you know about women in your own country - because women in the East are totally different.

If you get so lucky that you find someone you really like and you decide to meet. Then remember that you are to pay for the date, her taxi and even if she brings a friend you will have to pay for her friend’s dinner as well. This has nothing to do with the women being cheap. This is simply cultural difference.

If you get email with many beautiful words about how great your life would be if you could be together and if the letter feels more or less "pasted" she is most likely a scammer. And if she ends the mail with her email address, then for sure she is a scammer. If she in addition to this uses a yahoo or g-mail address then we can make sure she is a scammer and you should report her to us.

Second

If you have communicated for some time and she is sending you letters very frequently and you want to meet her. Then she starts to ask you for money to fix her international passport and visa, then she is a scammer 100%. There is no question about it. Do not think she is an exception. SHE IS A SCAMMER. She will most likely ask you for a sum of 300 - 800 Euros. You have to remember that there are no agencies that can get her a visa to your country. It needs to be done together with you. Third

If you are getting letters in your email and they are always sent with a picture of her (all photos look professional and very good looking), then she is most likely a scammer. Ask her for private photos taken with her own camera. Ask her to make you a photo of her family or even better. Send her a small gift and ask her to take a photo of the gift so you can see that she got it.

Forth

Visit her and don’t ask her to visit you. You are the man and you are the one who should have to travel to meet. Make sure to get all her contact information and talk to her on phone. Decide a date when you can meet and try to book flights and hotel (or apartments) and meet each other. Nothing can compare with real life meetings. You will for sure find if there are sparks in the air if you meet in real life.
